About 17 people were involved with serving in Boise over Spring Break. We helped replace 45 year old carpet for a disabled Navy vet and his wife, assisted World Relief, and did various small projects. We also befriended Karen refugees at the Karen Baptist Church of Boise. We read the book Forgotten God together and were challenged to listen to and obey the Holy Spirit.

Thank you to our major sponsor, Casey Dillabaugh of Dillabaugh’s Flooring America who provided the carpet and hired the installers! Thank you also to many who gave money, supplies, or provided a meal during our 5 days.  Everyone who attended also PAID THEIR OWN WAY to work for this week!

Along with the work we did we raised funds for the rescue and support of girls in the sex slave trade. We are working with Destiny Rescue. We are about $500 away from our initial goal of $1500 for the rescue and support of one girl. Can you help? Send a check made out to Destiny Rescue to Monty Moreland at the Biblical Studies Center 1025 Belmont, Boise, ID 83706 or donate through the BSC’s paypal account here: http://boisebsc.org/DONATE.htm

Kendall Moreland was in Cambodia with Destiny Rescue at the time of our spring break mission. Listen to his testimony below.
